The Master of Arts in Humanities (by research) offers you to engage in an interdisciplinary research project that draws on at least two areas within the humanities. This flexible postgraduate programme is designed for those who wish to move beyond the boundaries of a single discipline and explore connections between fields such as art, history, literature, philosophy, languages and cultural studies. You will focus on independent research, allowing you to investigate your chosen topic in depth and from diverse perspectives. Guided by a supervisor, you will develop skills in critical analysis, research methodology and academic writing. The programme encourages you to engage with contemporary debates and apply humanities-based insights to complex questions in society. By completing a substantial, original piece of work, you will graduate with advanced research skills applicable to academic, cultural and professional contexts.
